Crop PDF FAQ
- Is my PDF uploaded when I crop it?
- No. Crop PDF runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js. Your file is never uploaded to Looty Tools.
- Does cropping a PDF permanently delete the trimmed content?
- No. Crop PDF changes the visible page area (the PDF's CropBox), which is the standard way PDF viewers and printers decide what to show. It does not delete or remove the underlying page content. For permanently removing sensitive content, use Redact PDF instead.
- Can I crop every page at once, even if pages are different sizes?
- Yes. Crop PDF stores your selection as a margin percentage, not a fixed box, so applying it to all pages trims the same proportional amount from each page regardless of its size or orientation.
- Does Crop PDF work on rotated pages?
- Yes. The crop selection is calculated relative to how the page actually displays, so rotated pages (90°, 180°, 270°) crop correctly without unexpected offsets.
- What is the maximum file size and page count?
- Crop PDF accepts one PDF up to 25 MB and 300 pages.
