How to scan to PDF
- Tap "Take a photo" to capture a page, or choose photos from your device.
- Add as many pages as you need, in any order.
- Drag pages to reorder them, and rotate any page that came out sideways.
- Choose a page size, orientation, margin, and fit.
- Select Build PDF & download.

Private browser-based scanning
Building the PDF happens locally on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to Looty Tools, stored on our servers, or sent to an external conversion service.
Limits and important notes
- Maximum of 30 photos per PDF.
- Maximum size per photo is 25 MB.
- Maximum combined size of all selected photos is 75 MB.
- At least 1 photo is required to build a PDF.
- Camera capture opens your device's native camera or photo picker; a live in-page camera preview is not used.
- Very large or complex photo sets may use more browser memory.

- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. Building the PDF runs locally in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to Looty Tools.
- Can I use my phone camera directly?
- Yes. Tap "Take a photo" to open your camera, or choose existing photos from your library.
- What photo formats are supported?
- JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC (including HEIC photos from an iPhone library).
- Can I reorder the pages before building the PDF?
- Yes. Drag a page to reorder it, or use the Move up and Move down buttons.
- Can I fix a sideways or upside-down photo?
- Yes. Use Rotate left or Rotate right on any page before building the PDF.
- How many photos can I combine into one PDF?
- Up to 30 photos, each up to 25 MB, with a combined total of up to 75 MB.
- Will my photos be resized or cropped to fit the page?
- You choose the page size, orientation, margin, and whether photos are contained within the page or filled to cover it.
- How is this different from Images to PDF?
- Scan to PDF adds a direct phone camera capture button and per-page rotate/reorder controls tuned for scanning a document page by page. Images to PDF is the general-purpose image-to-PDF converter.
