Convert PDF pages to TIFF images in your browser

Render each page of a PDF into a TIFF image, entirely on your device. TIFF is the format many archival, print-shop, and scanner workflows still expect — everything runs locally so your file never leaves your device.

How to convert PDF to TIFF

  1. Choose or drop a PDF file.
  2. Pick a resolution: 1×, 1.5×, or 2×.
  3. Convert all pages.
  4. Download each page as its own TIFF, or download every page at once as a ZIP.

What you get

  • Real TIFF files (not a JPG or PNG renamed with a .tiff extension) — uncompressed 8-bit RGBA.
  • One TIFF file per PDF page. A multi-page PDF produces multiple TIFF files, bundled together into a single ZIP — not one multi-page TIFF container.
  • Page dimensions and aspect ratio are preserved.
  • Uncompressed TIFF output is usually much larger than a JPG or PNG of the same page at the same resolution.

Browser privacy

  • Processing occurs locally in the browser.
  • Files are not uploaded to Looty Tools.
  • Conversion results remain on your device.

Limits

  • Maximum file size is 25 MB, up to 50 pages.
  • Rendered page dimensions are capped at 4096 pixels on the longest edge to avoid running out of browser memory on very large pages.
  • Output is uncompressed 8-bit RGBA TIFF — there is no lossless-compression or quality option.
  • Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

PDF to TIFF FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs locally in the browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to Looty Tools.
Does this produce a single multi-page TIFF file?
No. Each PDF page becomes its own TIFF file. When a PDF has more than one page, all of the page TIFFs are bundled together into a single ZIP download rather than one multi-page TIFF container.
Why are the TIFF files larger than JPG or PNG at the same resolution?
TIFF output here is uncompressed 8-bit RGBA, so file sizes are usually significantly larger than a JPG or PNG of the same page at the same resolution. Choose PDF to JPG or PDF to PNG instead if smaller file size matters more than TIFF compatibility.
What resolution options are available?
Choose 1×, 1.5×, or 2× the PDF page size. Rendered dimensions are capped so the browser does not run out of memory on very large pages.
What is the maximum PDF size?
The maximum file size is 25 MB, with up to 50 pages.
