What JPG to PDF conversion does

Convert a JPG, JPEG, or JFIF image into a single-page PDF directly in your browser, with configurable page size, orientation, fit, and margins.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Choose a JPG, JPEG, or JFIF file.
  2. Pick a page size, orientation, fit, and margin.
  3. Select Convert & download.
  4. Save the .pdf file from your browser downloads.

Why use this conversion

PDF is a universally readable document format for sharing, printing, or archiving a single photo without requiring an image viewer, or for inserting an image into a paperwork/document workflow that expects PDF.

Transparency and output quality

JPG has no alpha channel, so the embedded image in the PDF is fully opaque. The image is re-encoded as PNG before embedding; overall file size depends mainly on the image content and the page size and margins you choose.

Privacy and local processing

  • Processing occurs locally in the browser.
  • Files are not uploaded to Looty Tools for conversion.
  • Converted files remain on your device.

Limits and known issues

  • Input: JPG, JPEG, or JFIF (.jfif, .jfi, .jif), up to 25.0 MB and 8,192 px per side.
  • This tool places exactly one image on one PDF page. For combining several images into one multi-page PDF, use the dedicated Images to PDF tool.
  • JFIF (.jfif, .jfi, .jif) is accepted alongside .jpg and .jpeg because it is a JPEG-based format.
  • Metadata is not preserved in the downloaded file.
