HEIC to PDF processes files locally in your browser.

What HEIC to PDF conversion does

Convert a HEIC photo into a single-page PDF directly in your browser, with configurable page size, orientation, fit, and margins.

How to convert HEIC to PDF

  1. Choose a HEIC file.
  2. Pick a page size, orientation, fit, and margin.
  3. Select Convert & download.
  4. Save the .pdf file from your browser downloads.

Why use this conversion

PDF is a universally readable document format for sharing, printing, or archiving a single image without requiring an image viewer.

Transparency and output quality

The image is embedded in the PDF as PNG data, so an alpha channel from the source is preserved inside the document. The embedded image uses PNG compression; overall file size depends mainly on the image content and the page size and margins you choose.

Privacy and local processing

  • Processing occurs locally in the browser.
  • Files are not uploaded to Looty Tools for conversion.
  • Converted files remain on your device.

Limits and known issues

  • Input: HEIC/HEIF (.heic, .heif) only, up to 25.0 MB and 8,192 px per side.
  • This tool places exactly one image on one PDF page. For combining several images into one multi-page PDF, use the dedicated Images to PDF tool.
  • Multi-image HEIC containers — bursts or Live Photos — download as multiple PDF files, or a ZIP when there is more than one. Every decoded image is kept; none are silently discarded.
  • Metadata is not preserved in the downloaded file.

HEIC to PDF FAQ

Why convert HEIC to PDF?
PDF is a universally readable document format for sharing, printing, or archiving a single image without requiring an image viewer.
Does PDF output keep transparency?
The image is embedded as PNG data, so an alpha channel from the source is preserved inside the document.
Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?
This tool places exactly one image on one PDF page. Use the dedicated Images to PDF tool to combine several images into one multi-page PDF.
What happens with a multi-image HEIC file?
Every decoded image is kept — a single-image HEIC downloads as one file, and a multi-image HEIC (a burst or Live Photo) downloads as a ZIP containing every decoded image, never just the first one.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion runs locally in your browser and does not upload your file to Looty Tools servers.
What is validated before conversion?
The file must actually be a HEIC/HEIF container — the tool checks the ISO-BMFF ftyp brand, not just the filename or extension, before decoding.
