Limits and known issues
- Input: WebP (.webp) only, up to 25.0 MB and 8,192 px per side.

- If the source WebP is itself animated, this is a double loss: the animation collapses to a single frame, and that frame's alpha (if any) further collapses to GIF's binary on/off transparency.
- Metadata is not preserved in the downloaded file.
