Convert PDF pages into an editable PowerPoint deck

Turn a PDF into a real, editable .pptx presentation. Extracted text becomes genuine PowerPoint text boxes and embedded images become real, movable picture objects — not a slideshow of screenshots. Everything runs locally so your file never leaves your device.

How to convert PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Choose or drop a PDF file.
  2. The tool checks the PDF has real, extractable text.
  3. Convert to PowerPoint.
  4. Download the resulting .pptx presentation.

What gets reconstructed

  • Extracted text as real, editable, absolutely-positioned text boxes with approximate position, size, alignment, and bold/italic styling.
  • Embedded raster images as real, independent, movable picture objects placed at their true position and size — never a full-page screenshot.
  • One PDF page becomes one PowerPoint slide, sized to the document's page dimensions.
  • Complex vector art, gradients, exact original fonts, clipping effects, and rotated or skewed images are not reconstructed as editable objects — see the limits below.

Browser privacy

  • Processing occurs locally in the browser.
  • Files are not uploaded to Looty Tools.
  • Conversion results remain on your device.

Limits

  • Maximum file size is 25 MB, up to 50 pages.
  • Scanned or image-only PDFs have no extractable text and are rejected with a clear message — this tool does not perform OCR.
  • Text is placed with approximate position and size, using a standard PowerPoint font rather than the PDF's original embedded font.
  • Complex vector graphics, gradients, clipping paths, tiled/repeated background images, and rotated or skewed images are not reconstructed as editable objects.
  • If later pages are a different size than the first page, their content is scaled to fit the deck's fixed slide size rather than distorting the whole deck.

PDF to PowerPoint FAQ

Are my PDF files uploaded?
No. Conversion runs locally in the browser. Your files are not uploaded to Looty Tools.
Is the PowerPoint output actually editable, or just an image?
It is genuinely editable. Extracted text becomes real, selectable PowerPoint text boxes with approximate position, size, and alignment, and embedded photos/graphics become real, movable picture objects — not one screenshot per slide.
What does not convert perfectly?
Complex vector art, gradients, exact original fonts, clipping effects, tiled/repeated background images, and rotated or skewed images are not reconstructed as editable objects. Text uses a standard PowerPoint font rather than the PDF’s original embedded font.
Are scanned PDFs supported?
No. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no extractable text, so this tool cannot convert them — it does not perform OCR.
How are slides sized?
Each PDF page becomes one slide. The deck is sized to the first page’s dimensions; if later pages are a different size, their content is scaled to fit.
What is the maximum PDF size?
The maximum file size is 25 MB, with up to 50 pages.
