RTF to PDF FAQ
- Is my RTF document uploaded anywhere?
- No. Conversion runs locally in the browser. Your document is not uploaded to Looty Tools.
- Is the text in the PDF selectable and searchable?
- Yes. The tool produces a real PDF with selectable, searchable text, not a scanned image.
- What RTF formatting is preserved?
- Paragraphs, bold, italic, underline, font size, left/right/center alignment, basic left indentation, simple bullet and numbered lists, line breaks, and common Unicode characters (including smart quotes and accented letters).
- What happens with unsupported RTF features?
- Unrecognized RTF control codes are skipped gracefully so the surrounding text still converts correctly — they never corrupt the output. True justified alignment renders as left-aligned, and complex list numbering styles are detected on a best-effort basis from the visible list markers.
- What is the maximum file size?
- The maximum file size is 15 MB.
