Why convert Word to PDF

Supported formats
Only .docx files are supported — the modern, XML-based Word format used by current versions of Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Legacy .doc files (the older binary format) are not supported and are rejected with a message asking you to re-save the file as .docx first, since there is no reliable way to read the old binary format safely in the browser.
