Why convert PowerPoint to PDF

Supported formats
Only .pptx files are supported — the modern, XML-based PowerPoint format used by current versions of PowerPoint and Google Slides. Legacy .ppt files (the older binary format) are not supported and are rejected with a message asking you to re-save the file as .pptx first, since the old binary format cannot be read reliably in a browser.
