How to convert ODS to PDF

What gets preserved

Limits

• Maximum file size is 10 MB.
• Up to 20 worksheets, 5,000 rows and 50 columns per selected sheet, and 100,000 selected cells, producing up to 100 pages.
• Cell fill/background colors, bold/italic emphasis, custom fonts, alignment, and border styles are not preserved — only values and merged-cell layout carry over.
• Hidden worksheets are not detected for ODS files; every worksheet is treated as visible and selectable.
• Overly long cell text is truncated with an ellipsis rather than wrapped onto multiple lines.

What does the PDF actually contain?

A readable table PDF built from each selected worksheet's displayed cell values — not a pixel-for-pixel copy of how the sheet looks in LibreOffice Calc or Excel. Text, numbers, dates, percentages, currency, and blank cells all render as their displayed value, and merged cells are preserved.

Are formulas recalculated?

No. The PDF shows each formula cell’s cached/displayed result from the file itself — formulas are not recalculated during conversion.

Are cell colors, fonts, and borders preserved?

No. This converter reads cell values, merged-cell layout, and column-width hints, but not visual cell styling — fill/background colors, bold/italic emphasis, custom fonts, alignment, and border styles are not carried over. All cells render in one consistent typeface and grid.

Are hidden worksheets excluded?

No, not for ODS files — worksheet visibility metadata is not exposed by this tool’s parser for the ODS format, so every worksheet is treated as visible and selectable.

How does pagination work for large spreadsheets?

Each worksheet gets its own page(s), titled with the sheet name (and its position among multiple sheets). Long sheets continue across additional pages headed "(continued)". Choose Auto orientation to have wide sheets render as landscape, or enable "Fit worksheet width to page" to scale wide tables down rather than continuing them onto extra pages sideways. Overly long cell text is truncated with an ellipsis rather than wrapped onto multiple lines, keeping row heights predictable during pagination.
